Glacier Girl Charter Fishing

Glacier Girl Charter Fishing and the F/V Glacier Girl are operated out of Black River Harbor near Ironwood, in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.  Black River Harbor is a small quaint harbor run by the USFS on the south shore of Lake Superior.  The fishing usually runs from May to October.  Early spring fishing can be spotty due to the cold weather and water conditions.  Good fishing usually starts in mid June and continues into October.  The most abundant species of fish caught is the Lake Trout.  King and Coho Salmon are sometimes caught along with the Brown and Rainbow Trout (Steelhead).
